Dr. Shazaad Ali MD, CCFP, LMCC, MCFP, DipABLM, DipOM
Dr. Shazaad Ali is a dedicated family physician and Managing Director of White Rose Medical Centre in Port Hope. His integrative approach combines preventive strategies with comprehensive medical management, specializing in Family Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Occupational Health to address root causes and improve overall patient well-being.
Through his lifestyle medicine practice, Dr. Ali creates personalized health plans that manage and potentially reverse chronic conditions. His approach encompasses nutritional guidance, physical activity prescriptions, sleep optimization, and stress management techniques, with particular expertise in type 2 diabetes and metabolic disorders.
In occupational medicine, Dr. Ali provides WSIB assessments, fitness-for-work evaluations, and workplace health consultations. He delivers practical solutions that benefit organizations while prioritizing worker health and safety.
Since coming to Canada in 2018, Dr. Ali has built extensive experience in rural medicine, serving underserved communities across Saskatchewan and Ontario, including work in rural emergency units providing urgent care.
Dr. Ali earned his medical degree from the University of Leeds in the UK and gained valuable clinical experience within the National Health Service (NHS). After relocating to Canada, he completed the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), earned Membership in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (MCFP), and obtained certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP). His credentials also include Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipABLM) and Certification in Occupational Medicine (DipOM).
With his diverse medical background, Dr. Ali delivers integrated care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and ongoing medical education.

Dr. Malik Awan, MD, CCFP, MCFP
Dr. Malik Awan is a dedicated family physician and the Medical Director of White Rose Medical Centre in Port Hope. Dr. Awan earned his medical degree from the University of Rawalpindi, Pakistan, in 1989 and gained valuable clinical experience as a family physician in Pakistan. After relocating to Canada, he earned Membership in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (MCFP) and obtained certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
Dr. Awan delivers integrated care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and ongoing medical education.
